I am Sucheta, a graduate student with a love for all things glia. I joined the Keller lab in April 2020. At the moment, I am trying to understand how microglia try to protect the brain from calcifications and uncovering the function of microglia at a dysfunctional neurovascular unit. Although I am partial to these marvelous cells, I have to admit I am equally fascinated by astrocytes and how these cells communicate with each other in health and disease. I had the privilege of growing up in different states in India and so speak quite a few languages. In my down time, I enjoy reading, exploring different cuisines (as much exploration being a vegetarian would allow :P), learning new languages, listening to music and watching movies. You can find my publications at my Google Scholar and ORCID links. I am always up for discussions and connecting. You can reach out to me via Twitter @suchetasridhar and LinkedIn Sucheta Sridhar.
